A micro-brewery inserted into the historic site of the Sassi in Matera, Italy to bring about a sense of identity and community. This micro-brewery brings about a sense of ‘gemutlicheit’ , a space or state of warmth, friendliness, good cheer, coziness, peace of mind, belonging, social acceptance, and comfort. This vertical brewery takes advantage of gravity and exposes the brewing process to its tasters as they circulate to the tasting and tap rooms below.
